B-Schools starts their selection process by post declaration of CAT result, so to avoid overlapping in selection process and provide ease to students, BIMTECH has taken a noble initiative of conducting early round of selection process in December.
It gives many benefits to students as they can attend selection process without any overlapping of dates. At this point of time after giving CAT, students are with fresh mind and can attend selection process in a calm way and ensure their chance at BIMTECH accordingly.
This first round of selection process will be held in December 2016 at six centres i.e. Bengaluru, Cochin, Kolkata, Pune, Varanasi and Greater Noida. All these centers are easily accessible so enables the students to come and attend PI from any part of the country. After the declaration of CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT result, student can update their percentiles in the online application form for preparation of final selection list based on merit.
Later in February, after the declaration of CAT result, second phase would be conducted at pan India level at 15 locations such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Indore, Ranchi, Trivandrum, Kolkata, Mumbai, Varanasi, Pune and Greater Noida.
