MICA ensures a robust admission process

MICA introduced, for the PGDM–C 2016–18 admissions, a new process where candidates are given two opportunities to take the MICAT exam and participate in the group exercise (GE) and personal interview (PI).  MICA also initiated a computer-based exam in place of the pen and paper model.  MICAT - I was conducted at 14 centres and 5, 251 students applied for the exam.  Of this, 536 candidates were called for the GE-PI process at five centers.

Since this is the first time MICA is conducting the admission process in two distinct phases and MICAT in a computer-based format, we followed a rigorous and robust process by conducting multiple audits. Post our final audit, conducted after the GE-PI process for MICAT - I, we are calling  23 more candidates (13 in Kolkata and 10 in Mumbai) in addition to the 536 called earlier.  The MICA Admissions Committee is conducting a special GE-PI process for these 23 candidates in Mumbai and Kolkata immediately.

Confirmed offers for MICAT - I will be declared by February 1, 2016 and the candidates will be able to access their scores individually by February 2, 2016.

The last date for MICAT - II applications has been extended till February 4, 2016.
