MICA, India’s premier B-school for Strategic Marketing and Communication, yesterday declared the results and Merit List of the selection process for the 2016-18 batch of its flagship programme Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C).
The Merit List has been prepared in accordance with the selection process available on the MICA website. Candidates have been provided access to their individual scores in the objective-type sections of the MICAT, namely verbal ability, quantitative ability, general awareness, and divergent-convergent reasoning.
Of the 7699 candidates who applied for the MICAT over Phase I and Phase II of the selection process, 788 candidates were shortlisted for the Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GE & PI) rounds.
The changes instituted in the selection process for MICA’s PDGM-C 2016-18 aimed to make the process more inclusive and convenient for candidates. These changes were:

Globally, 86 percent of companies plan to hire recent MBA graduates this year, up from 79 percent that hired them in 2016. Demand for these MBA graduates is strongest in the United States and Asia-Pacific, where 9 in 10 companies plan to hire these candidates.
