Call for Papers and Posters

FORE International Conference on Digital Innovation 2018 is the seventh conference of the annual international conference series hosted by FORE School of Management at New Delhi, India.

This year FORE School of Management in partnership with the Department of Management Studies (DMS) IIT Delhi. In support with The London School of Economics & Political Science and King’s College London will be conducting the conference in December 14th -15th 2018. With an objective to provide a collaborative platform for researchers and experts to discuss the impact of digital technologies for creating safer cities in India, the theme of the Conference has been, Innovating Digital Technologies for Creating Safer Cities in India.

Papers are invited from academicians, practitioners, research scholars, and students to submit research papers and business cases in the area of Information Technology, Computer Science, Sociology, Social Work, CSR researchers / Consultants.

Topics for the theme: the main topics of the conference include, but are not limited to: Digital Cities (More), Smart Cities, Urban Governance And Planning Using ICTs, Digital Economy And ICT – Driven Economic Institutions And Practices, Cyber Security, Digital Divide, Women’s Movement, Double Marginalization, Women’s Rights, Occidental And Oriental Cities, Gender Relations, Community Vs. Cosmopolitan, Community Programming And Participation, Policies And Practices, Gender Budgeting & Social Institutions.

Scope:  The paper should fit into the general scope of the conference and be attributed to one of the conference tracks. Interdisciplinary papers that combine social sciences with information and computer sciences are also welcomed.

“Authors are also encouraged to submit research work on topics not covered by the listed sub-themes but relevant to the overall conference theme. Submission of Abstract (750-1500 words): Sep 1st, 2018.

Decision on Abstract: Sep 15th, 2018.

Final Paper Submission – Nov 1st, 2018. 

Last date of Registration – Nov 15th 2018.

Format and Paper Length

Abstract: Authors are required to submit an abstract that includes the objectives and scope of the research, methodology and findings. The abstract should not exceed 1500 words. To be submitted in word format (12, Times New Roman, 1.5 spaced) and only Extended Abstract as specified.

Full paper: Full papers should be submitted before November 1st, 2018 to be eligible for Best Paper Award and as a chapter in an edited book by a renowned publisher. Full papers are limited to a maximum of 10 to 12 pages.

Poster: In addition to the traditional competitive and interactive papers, posters are invited to be presented in a dedicated poster session. The poster session at FICDI is designed to encourage early-stage work to get converted to high-impact contributions.

Language & Writing: The paper must be written in English without major grammatical or stylistic errors. It is recommended to proofread the article before the final submission.
