The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executive (PGPWE) is an intensive one and a half year post graduate program in management, especially designed for mid/senior level professionals. The program is formulated and designed to enhance skills and capabilities essential for managerial positions. The focus is to enable and develop managers who understand global embeddedness and requirements of their organisations as well as the intricacies of business at functional and strategic levels. The program has also given a special emphasis on emerging economies which have enormous potential and business opportunities.
The event started with the lighting of the lamp and the programme introduction by Dr. Debdatta Pal, Chairman PGPWE. He took pride in the inauguration of the 5th batch and said that the programme belonged solely to the students as without students no institute could stand. She interacted with the students and threw light on aligning management studies with the industry functions in order to achieve excellence.
