MBA Programs Inauguration at IIHMR University
One of the globally recognized and leading healthcare research organizations of the country, IIHMR University, Jaipur has its core area in Research, Academics and Training. The IIHMR University commenced its 21th batch of the MBA Hospital and Health Management, 8th batch of MBA Pharmaceutical Management and 5th batch of MBA Rural Management on 18th July, 2016. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Samuel Mawunganidze, Chief – UNICEF Field Office Rajasthan.
A WHO Collaborating Center for District Health Systems Based on Primary Healthcare, The University was established with a fundamental purpose of creating new knowledge and developing alternate modes of improving healthcare, through research, education, training in India and other parts of the world.
The University has conducted over 500 research studies focused on management of health sector, has over 1800 alumni managing hospitals and health care organizations in private and public sectors at national and international levels. (Nearly 10,000 policy makers, health administrators and program managers at various levels in India and abroad have been trained to build capacity. IIHMR has been involved in conducting (NFHS) National Family Health Survey to generate evidence for policy and strengthening program.
The IIHMR University is one of the finest institutions in the country for its quality education, research and infrastructure. The IIHMR has maintained its top ranked position in the management education and training in the hospital and health management in the country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, government of India, has designated the Institute as “Institute of Excellence” For its contribution to capacity development programs in the health sector, training and research.
The IIHMR University has significantly contributed to the areas of health research management in the country and in South-East Asia Region. It has established a new paradigm of management of capacity development among healthcare professionals at the national, state and district levels in the areas of leadership, strategic management, and quality assurance in health care.
