Coming to MICA has been a great experience, the atmosphere here is buzzing with creativity and ideas and it was great to be able to let myself sink in and absorb as much as possible.”

Team Collabor8, comprising of MICAn students Sumedh Prabhu and VatsalSethi, who emerged victorious and received a funding of Rs. 20,000, came up with the idea of creating an ecosystem where people can seek, share and explore “talent based” team building possibilities in a hyperlocal environment. Through their business model, people collaborate to meet new people, enlarge their social sphere and network.

Team Collabor8 will be provided the opportunity to start their project in MICA with help from the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and the MICA Incubator. SumedhPrabhu, co-ideator of Collabor8 said, “There are all these talented people around us. Unknown, unheard of. If people just got to engage and share their skills, it could lead to creation of much better things, and much bigger ventures and ideas! That’s when we came up with ColaboR8. It brings people together so that they can hone their skills, and mutually use their expertise to excel.”
