MICA, Ahmedabad, India's premier management school for Strategic Marketing and Communications, concluded Impetus 2.0, the biggest marketing brainstorming challenge for undergraduate students. 

Designed to test the business acumen and creativity of future business leaders, MICA Impetus 2.0 gave the students a sneak-peek into MICA's life and the world of marketing through a series of out of the box quizzes and real-life challenges.

This year Impetus 2.0 saw over 2800 registrations from students from various parts of the country, making it the biggest undergraduate brainstorming challenge. This year's theme, 'Let Curiosity Fuel Creativity,' required the teams to use logical and creative discretion to develop solutions. 

The challenge began with the first round, held on November 22, and concluded with the finale 'Crack the Challenge,' on December 13, requiring the teams to present their case solutions on brand extension, digital media, and new-age startups to the judges virtually.

Dr. Shailendra Raj Mehta, President & Director, MICA, and Dr. Preeti Shroff, Dean, MICA, were keynote speakers of the virtual finale. The top 10 shortlisted teams presented their case solutions before the eminent panelists from MICA - Dr. Falguni  Vasavda Oza, Prof. UT Rao, and Prof. Siddharth Deshmukh. 

The intense power-packed finale witnessed a variety of innovative ideas by the finalists. Team Purple Pandas, comprising students from NIFT Delhi, Anjali Kumar, Kritika Bora, and Nandini Jain, emerged victorious by grabbing the first position and prize money Rs. 1,00,000. 

Team Fove, comprising of students from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research and SSCBS, University of Delhi, Garishma Taneja, and Kushagra Verma was the first runner-up. Team Upstarters, comprising students from SSCBS, University of Delhi, Tabish Ahmed, and Vanshika Pant, was declared second runner-up.
