Sharda University ties up with foreign universities to foster higher education in India

Giving a thrust to higher education in the country, Sharda University partnered with some of the reputed global universities for research and training in various fields. The tie up with the universities will led to better understanding to world education and global exposure for students and faculties through various exchange and twining programmes. The universities which have collaborated with Sharda University are Missouri State University, USA; University of Baltimore, USA; University of Central Arkansas, USA & King’s College, Canada.

This collaboration between the universities will provide an excellent opportunity to enable the students from both the countries to significantly enhance their abilities to be successful global leaders throughout the world,” says Mr. P K Gupta, Chancellor Sharda University.
 
In the collaboration programme with Missouri State University for MBA, students of Sharda University shall get a chance to study one year in India and one year in US to understand the international standards of management.
 
While the agreement with University of Central Arkansas, USA will felicitate the Sharda University Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) to the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) at the University of Central Arkanasas for credit transfer degree seeking students as well as for 1 semester credit transfer study abroad non-degree seeking in order to stimulate international programs and projects between the two institutions.
 
The tie-up of Sharda University with University of Baltimore which in US news ranks the among the top 25 public universities in the North of the United States of America for 2014 and with King’s College, Canada has agreed to develop collaborative activities in the following areas of mutual interest like exchange of faculty and administrative staff, exchange of scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, short term customized courses visit by students on credit transfer/study abroad programme basis, conducting collaborative research projects, conducting lectures and organizing symposia, exchange of academic information and materials, promoting collaboration in fields of mutual interest, promoting other academic co-operation.
