Preparation materiel on Data Interpretation
Strategy for dealing with DI should be very straight as well as flexible. Do not start solving any set immediately, but read all the sets first and then make a call on which set is more structured and has lesser variables in terms of conditions that can be put in a structured table or a format easily.
This section tests your speed, analytical skills and decision making capability. A number of tables, graphs and charts will be provided to the student and he/she will be required to answer the questions through inference.
Data Interpretation section of CAT is of very efficient level. It requires lot of concentration and focus. Many aspirants are scared of this section as DI appears to be toughest puzzle of all to them and for many it's a trump card to gain that extra percentile in the Common Admissions Test (CAT).
