Criteria for selection of PGP-PGDM candidates for 2018-2020 Batch
Students who have given CAT are eagerly waiting for their results. But we need to understand that process is not over yet, it starts here. You need to gear your preparation for WAT and PI for your selection into IIMs. Below is the selection criteria for IIM Indore for IIM CAT 2018-20 Batch.
Short-listing for Personal Interview (PI) through CAT for IIM
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2017 score, past academic performance, and other criteria given below.
Minimum CAT 2017 Percentile for the PGP Batch of 2018-2020 .

Candidates securing the above mentioned minimum percentile in each category in CAT 2017 will only be considered for calculation of their composite score in Stage II (described below). Please note that the actual section-wise and overall percentile of a short-listed candidate may be much higher than the above mentioned minimum percentile as the short-listing for PI is done on the basis of composite score.
Calculation of Composite Scores for Short-listing for PI stage
The Composite Score is calculated on the basis of CAT 2017 score, Class X and Class XII aggregate percentages, and gender diversity factor.
Method of allotting points for Class X and Class XII percentages of marks based on aggregate scores is given in Table below:

Candidates based on their composite score will be called for the PI stage of selection process like Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT) etc.

List X: BA, BA(H), B.Sc, B.Sc.(H), BS, B.Com, B.Com(H), BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, LL.B, MBBS, BDS or any other Non-Engineering bachelor’s degree not mentioned above.

The final selection list will be based on merit in each category; minimum qualification on the above mentioned criteria would not automatically qualify the candidate for admission into IIM Calcutta.
