CAT score will be applicable primarily for 13 IIMs viz; IIM-Ahemadabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Ranchi, Kashipur, Rohtak, Raipur, Trichy, Shilong and Udaipur.
Objective of conducting CAT is to select the best candidate with qualitative skills; later on having been shortlisted CAT aspirants will have to face GD & PI wherein the soft skills like communication & attitude will be tested.
Like previous year this year also more than 2 Lac plus CAT aspirants are likely to register.
