In CAT 2016 VRC will be a separate section and will comprise of 34 questions with stipulated time of 60 minutes. This reflects that verbal ability will be more examined hence; candidates need to understand the past trends also which might be very helpful to ace VRC in CAT 2016
The Verbal Ability part tests your grasp on English language, and your ability to understand written words in the Reading Comprehension section.

VRC will also include number of questions on Grammar, Vocabulary, fill in the blanks.
You need to understand contextual meaning of the sentences which will be useful in Reading Comprehension. There will be para jumbled questions which need not only fast reading but adaptation of sentences in a concluding way.
With Reading comprehension in VRC, the complex paragraph may have tough vocabulary hence absorption and comprehension of the language will be a critical factor.Reading comprehension is the ultimate test for the language skills.
