Perspectives & Challenges in HR
A Strategic View

The Second DSB HR Conclave 2014, on 15th November intends to bring eminent HR professionals and Business leaders from the industry, HR Consulting and academia to share their views and perspectives on the challenges facing HR from a strategic perspective. This in our opinion has become critical as organization differentiation largely today rests on the strategic advantage an organization possesses in its human resources. The conclave is planned to take off with the sharing of practice and thought leaders perspectives to HR in the Key Note Address. . Thereon we propose to discuss in depth the prevalent issues through three tracks of presentations and moderated discussion covering;
  1. Indian Business Organisations
  2. Organisations with a global context
  3. HR Consultants and Academicians.
We believe this conclave would therefore generate thoughts, issues and takeaways which besides facilitating HR practitioners and academics also provide for our students an appreciation and awareness of the thought and practice frameworks in HR in addition to the conceptual knowledge they build.
