Extempore Speech has also become a tool to test MBA aspirant on assessing overall communication and personality so it is also equally important and crucial component of MBA admission.

MBA Rendezvous have started series of Extempore Speech articles which will certainly help you to clear MBA admission selection.

Read on topic :  I will franchise my vote for the 1st time

The right to vote is an integral part of a democratic society, where people choose their leaders based on their competencies and capabilities. Citizens of a democratic country have the privilege to choose their leaders instead of suffering at the hands of a dictator.

So, since I am a citizen of India, the largest democratic nation in the world, I too will honour my right and privilege and be a responsible citizen by voting for a leader who is passionate about improving the welfare of the citizens.

Even though I may not have voted in the previous elections, there is always a first time and the 2014 elections will be the first time that I will cast my vote for a capable leader.
We have witnessed the downfall of many non-democratic nations and the growth of democratic nations. And we have also witnessed the repercussions of electing incompetent and corrupt leaders.

Leaders who do not have clear goals and vision for the country will not be able to formulate the right policies and this will have a negative impact on the country. So, to ensure that India progresses and achieves success in the political, social and economic spheres, it is important for citizens of India to understand the vision of politicians and what they have planned for the country. Also, as a responsible citizen of India, I will do a background check of politicians to ensure that they have a history of political and economic achievements.

After I cast a vote, I cannot guarantee that the elected leader will uphold his duties but at least I will not blame others or the government if things do not proceed in a positive light.

I am responsible for my future and the future of my country; therefore, I will vote as a responsible citizen for the first time.
