GD Topic - Positive attitude will make you a winner
After having cleared cutoff percentile at MBA Institute, you will be invited for Group Discussion and now it is must for you to practice with variety of GD topics.

Read and develop points for discussion on GD topic: Positive attitude will make you a winner

Walt Whitman, an American poet and journalist, once said, “Keep your face always toward the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you”. It is true that you will progress only when you have a positive attitude.

When you are determined to reach your goals despite the obstacles that may come your way, you will be a winner, and this is possible only when you are optimistic in life. Neither is anyone’s life full of thorns nor is it a bed of roses.

There are ups and downs in everybody’s lives but what is important is the tenacity to get up and rise to the challenge when the going gets tough.

When you have a positive attitude, you will be focused on your goals and you will not let small failures along the way pull you back. All great men in history were not successful in their first attempt – they made mistakes; however, despite the setbacks, they carried on with their lives and ensured that they reached their goals.

Bill Gates and Narayana Murthy are considered great businessmen today but they were not successful right from the beginning. Initially, Bill Gates, together with two other partners, established Traf-O-Data, an organization that produced devices to read raw data from roadway traffic counters and create reports for traffic engineers.

Sadly, the organization did not make as much revenue as Bill Gates and his partners had expected. And they had to close the enterprise. However, the experience that Bill Gates gained was invaluable and this helped him to establish Microsoft, one of the most successful organizations in the world today.

Bill Gates could not have established Microsoft if he did not have a positive attitude. If he had become depressed at the closure of Traf-O-Data and turned pessimistic, we would not have Microsoft tools at our disposal that enhance the quality of our lives and make it easier to carry out our work.

Ultimately, it was positive attitude that made Bill Gates a winner. The same can be said about successful entrepreneurs, businessmen and businesswomen today. Hard work is important for success, no doubt, but another ingredient is dedication.

Are you committed to making your dream a reality? If the answer is yes, it means that you have a positive attitude and that you do not fear rejections or failures in life. However, if your answer is no, it means that you have a negative attitude to life and that your dreams and goals are not as important as you think they are.

Positive attitude will definitely make you a winner and it will also help you to move forward in life when the going gets tough. When Mahatma Gandhi shared his dream of an independent India, many people laughed at him – they thought he was dreaming the impossible.

But with positive attitude, determination to reach the goal, and hard work, he managed to prove these people wrong. Hence, it is important to maintain a positive attitude and at the same time, work hard to achieve your dreams and goals.
