Management courses in any Indian Institute of Management is highly coveted for aspirants and with the introduction of the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in 2011, young aspirants have a chance to get into one of the best institute of business and management in the country earlier than they did before (as soon as they finish their higher education or equivalent). 

IIM Indore IPM 2018 Eligibility Criteria

IIM Indore has laid down the eligibility criteria for candidates applying for the IPM:

  • Unreserved (UR) and NC-OBC Category- Minimum 60% in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.
  • SC/ST and PWD (DA) Category- Minimum 55% in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations. 
  • Age Limit- The maximum age limit for general category is 20 years of age as on 31 July 2018, and the maximum age limit for SC/ST category is 22 years of age as on 31 July 2018.

IIM Indore admits around 120 students from across the country to the IPM every year. The competition is fierce, given the low number of seats.

IIM Indore IPM 2018 Application

The Application Form for IIM Indore 2018 IPM is available in the online mode from 12 March 2018. All candidates, who want to apply for the IPM need to complete the application form and submit the form by 18 April 2018. 

IIM Indore IPM 2018 Structure

The curriculum is divided into two parts : in the first three years of the Programme, the candidates will study Undergraduate Level and in the last two years of the Programme, the candidates will study Postgraduate Level. The first three years build a foundation and the last two years focus on business management. In addition to classwork, IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the end of Year 3, and a business internship between Years 4 and 5.

IPMAT 2018 will be a time bound, computer based exam, consisting of 100 questions, to be completed in 120 minutes. The exam is likely to include a mixture of multiple choice questions and short answer questions, divided in three sections- Quantitative Aptitude (Multiple Choice Questions), Quantitative Aptitude (Short Answer Questions) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Questions). Each of the three sections need to be completed in 40 minutes respectively.

IIM Indore IPM 2018 Syllabus

The IIM Indore Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) exam consists of two sections:

1. Qualitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

2. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

The first section comprises 60 questions and includes topics such as Percentage, Average, Time and Distance, Ratio and Proportion, Probability, Data Sufficiency, Team Selection, Sequencing and Arrangement, Mensuration, Simple Interest and Compound Interest and so on. The second section comprises 40 questions such as Reading Comprehension, Para-jumble, Idioms and Phrases, Synonym and Antonym and so on. 

IIM Indore IPM 2018 Admit Card

The admit card is a crucial document that every candidate must carry. The admit card for IIM Indore IPMAT 2018 shall be available online for the candidates who have successfully submitted the Application form and paid the fees. 

IIM Indore IPM 2018 Selection Process

The selection process of IIM Indore’s Integrated Programme in Management comprises three rigorous stages: the candidates who meet the cutoff for the first stage, that is, the IPMAT exam, will be required to give the Written Ability Test (WAT), which will test the writing ability of the candidates. This shall be followed by the Personal Interview (PI) to know more about the candidate and will test skills such as communication, soft skills and so on.
