Being polite means being confident

Written ability Test  has also become a tool to test MBA aspirant on assessing overall communication and personality so it is also equally important and crucial component of MBA selection process.

This article on "Being polite means being confident” will boost your confidence to be successful in Written Ability Test:

Children are generally taught good manners and politeness from day one of their learning days. Confidence is inculcated among children for interacting with other people.

The social etiquettes like respect, politeness, greeting, punctuality, conversing and thanking people and more are stressed upon. It is a known fact that one is dealing with human beings only and they too deserve the same respect that one expects.

A person’s body language talks a lot about their confidence. A firm handshake when being introduced to people, maintaining an eye contact when talking, sitting or standing in an erect position are a few gestures by which people get their first impression of the person’s confidence. So, one has to create a lasting impression on the others during their first meeting.

The most important aptitude that one has to always carry is confidence in oneself.  Confidence comes with good communication skills. One can carry themselves well in a crowd if they are confident. One can do better in their workplace, create a very good impression about oneself and earn respect.

Self confidence makes a person think positively and others turn towards them for any advice. A confident person can do many things which normally anybody hesitates to do. Since they have the confidence to do everything, they take up all tasks which many think is unattainable and so success comes to them easily.

While communicating with others, however confident one is, they should be careful in the way they frame the words. One should never shout or use abusive language however displeased one is with people around them.

Politeness too earns a lot of respect. It is not a sign of timidity or lack of confidence. Many in fact consider politeness to be a sign of strength.
