The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to contribute to the skill development for the external trade sector of India. The Institute was permitted “Deemed to be University” status in 2002. IIFT has two campuses i.e., Delhi Campus and Kolkata Campus.

Over the years, IIFT has emerged as a national university with a center of attention on International Business Management and Strategy, and such consideration is reflected in all three significant activities of the Institute: Research, Training, and Education.

6. Is it difficult to crack IIFT?

If we consider the IIFT entrance exam, its difficulty level is similar to the CAT. IIFT requires a timing strategy because here, applicants need to tackle approx. 110 questions in 120 minutes and there are individual cut-offs for varied sections and one cannot afford to achieve more in one section and less in the opposite. To, get into IIFT first we have to clear the IIFT Entrance Exam then the Writing Skills Assessment, GD and Interview.

9. What is the fee for MBA (IB) Program?

The annual tuition fees for MBA(IB) 2021-23 batch is Rs. 8,85,000/- .

Relaxation of 50% is there in tuition fee only for SC/ST/PwD. There are other charges of Rs. 32,500/- for first-year and Rs. 22,500 in the second year for computer facility, internet, library, alumni charges, and IMF (student body).
