The TISSNET Admit Card 2020 will be released on 20th December 2019, which allows candidates to enter the examination venue and write the exam. TISSNET, a national level entrance exam, conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, for admission to its postgraduate programs, is scheduled to be held on 4th January 2020. Candidates should take a print out of the admit card and should keep it safely with them. The admit card will be needed not just to enter the examination venue, but during the admission process too.

The TISSNET Admit Card 2020 is available on the website of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Candidates must download their admit cards from the website. This can be done through the following steps:
- Visit the TISS website, that is, www.tiss.edu.
- Enter the registered Email Id and Password
- Read the declaration and click on ‘Prepare Hall Ticket’
- In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, report it to the authorities immediately
- Download the admit card and take a print

Necessary Document
The TISSNET admit card is an important document and it is compulsory for candidates to carry it to the exam venue on the day of the entrance exam. Without the admit card, candidates are not allowed to enter the exam venue and write the exam. The admit card will only be available online and it is the candidates’ prerogative to download and print the admit card as soon as it is released. In case any candidate does not receive his/ her admit card or notices any error with respect to the details in the admit card, he/ she should immediately bring this to the notice of the authorities and get the problem solved.
In addition the TISSNET admit card, candidates must also carry a passport size photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the exam centre and either one of the following documents, approved by the Government of India:
- Voter ID Card
- Aadhar Card
- Pan Card
- Passport
- Driving License
- Valid caste certificate for SC/ ST category candidates
- PwD certificate, if applicable
The candidates must also get photocopies of the TISSNET Admit Card and ID Proof.
Possible Errors in the TISSNET Admit Card
The candidate must see the TISSNET admit card carefully and report any discrepancy that he/ she notices, such as,
- Misspelled Name
- Incorrect PwD status
- Discrepancy in Exam Centre
- Candidate’s photograph not clearly visible
- Problem in downloading the TISSNET Admit Card despite successfully registering for the exam
For candidates appearing for TISSNET, they must carry the print out of the TISSNET admit card with them to the exam centre. They must retain it for the entire duration of the TISSNET admission process.
