INTRODUCTION
Effective leaders, executives and managers distinguish themselves by their ability to understand and manage their own emotions as also the emotions of other people with whom they interact. Researches in recent years have established that emotional maturity is a definite predictor of career success. Participants in this program will learn the concept of Emotional Intelligence, develop competencies and use Emotional Intelligence to stimulate outstanding performance.
The programme, as outlined below, aims at sensitizing participants with the need for acquisition and sharpening of such emotional competencies as are desirable for them to develop a high performance culture and enable the organizations gain and maintain sustained competitive advantage in the emerging global business scenario.

PEDAGOGY
The pedagogy will be interactive and participative in nature. In addition to lecturetts, a wide variety of especially designed exercises, instruments, games and syndicate discussion will be used to provide participants with insight into issues of major concern encountered by them in the organization and to generate such options as are necessary for effecting change in their mindset, their motivational drive as also in the style of their functioning.
PROGRAMME DIRECTORS
Dr. Bhupen Srivastava, Ph.D, Southern Illinois University is Professor at IMI, New Delhi. He has been involved in teaching, research and consultancy activities in India, USA, Canada, Europe and Africa for over five decades. His assignments include Dean, IILM New Delhi; Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi; Professor, IIM Calcutta, University of Northern Iowa, USA; Specialist and Head, HRD, BHEL; Dy. Director, PECCE; Senior Fellow, National Labour Institute, New Delhi, Commonwealth Advisor and Principal Consultant ESAMI, Arusha, Tanzania; Visiting Professor/Fellow; International Centre for Public Enterprises, Lublijana; McGill University, Montreal, Canada; and UNDP/ILO Fellow in Holland and UK. He has provided consultancy and training inputs to practically all major public and private sector organizations in the country. His assignments have focused on vision building, strategic management, organization restructuring, organization development, leadership and team building, HRD strategy, trade union leadership development, among others. The programme will be held during September 26-28, 2016 at the beautiful learning-oriented campus of International Management Institute located in serene surroundings of south Delhi at B-10, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi 110016.
Fee
Non-residential : Rs. 25,000/- per participant (plus Service Tax @ 15%) covering professional fee, programme kit and lunch.
Residential : Rs.35,000/- per participant (plus Service Tax @ 15%) covering professional fee, programme kit and boarding and lodging (air conditioned single room) at IMI Campus, New Delhi from noon of September 25 till noon of September 29, 2016.
Group Discounts :
- 10% discount on fee amount is available in case an organization nominates 2 or more participants to the programme.
