Birla Global University is a self-financed private unitary University and has been established by the enactment of Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015 with its main campus spread over an area of nearly 30 acres of land situated at IDCO Plot No.2, Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar. As per the Act the management of the university is carried out by a Board of Governors headed by Smt. Jayshree Mohta, Chairman, Birla Academy of Art & culture being the main promoter of Birla Global University. However, Honorable Governor of Odisha is the Chancellor of the University.

Applicants appearing for selection process will have to go through following steps

a. Essay on a given topic for about 300 words ‾ to evaluate writing ability 
b. Group Discussion- to evaluate the team spirit, communication, body language etc. 
c. Personal Interview ‾ to evaluate career objective, extra-curricular etc.

Candidate will be selected based on the following parameters 
a. Career Performance 
b. Performance in selection process 
c. Performance in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT and MAT

University will issue Admission offer letters to the finally selected candidates 
b. Candidates within 7 days of receiving offer letter require to send a confirmation to the university . 
c. Fee Submission: Candidates selected for admission in to MBA Program of BGU Bhubaneswar required to submit requisite fee within 15 days from the date of receiving the offer latter. 
Financing of Programmes: BGU has understanding with following banks for providing education loans to our students on priority basis subject to fulfilment of their terms and documentation requirement by the students.

Candidate should have good academic record and scored minimum 50 percent marks his/her Graduation. Candidates appearing for their final year graduation examination must submit their mark sheet immediately on the receipt of the same.

2. For admission into MBA programme of BGU Bhubaneswar applicant must have valid CAT 2017/ XAT 2017/CMAT 2018 or MAT (Sept 2017/ December 2017/Feb 2018/ May 2018) / Admission Entrance Test of BGU score card.
