FAQs – IIFT Admissions and Curriculum

Computer Based Test for admission to IIFT’s MBA (IB) 2021-23 programme will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 24, 2021 from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm across 68 cities in the country.

IIFT exam registrations began from November 6, 2020 and the last date to submit online application form is December 20, 2020 which is available on iift.nta.nic.in

1. What is the entrance procedure for admission to the MBA (Interanational Business) Programme?

The entrance procedure is a 2 stage process:
i. Computer Base Test
ii. Writing Skills Assessment, Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Steps to download the admit card:
i. Click on the official link of IIFT
ii. Click on ‘download your admit card
iii. Enter registration number, password, and captcha
iv. Click on the login
v. Click on download the admit card

3. What is the Flagship course at IIFT?

MBA in International Business is the flagship programme of IIFT.

4. What is MBA (IB) program all about?

MBA (IB) is a management course with special emphasis on International Business. IIFT students are exposed to the international perspectives of various subjects by virtue of their doing courses like international marketing, international finance, international strategy and international brand management.

5. How is the placement at IIFT in 2018-20 batch?

The average package offered to the IIFT students of MBA (IB) 2018-20 batch is Rs.20.48 LPA with the domestic average stands at Rs.18.27 LPA. The highest domestic compensation offered Rs.46.45 LPA.

6. Is the IB course fully residential?

Yes, the Institute offers fully furnished accommodation on campus for all students of MBA(IB) programme.

7. Is there any provision for reservation at IIFT?

Yes, there is a provision of reservation of seats at IIFT for Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWD.

8. What is the maximum age to write the IIFT exam?

There is no age bar for applying IIFT exam.

10. Is there any Student Exchange Program at IIFT?

IIFT has affiliations with more than 15 renowned foreign universities in Europe, Canada, Africa and Asia Pacific. Every year some students are selected to take part in the exchange programs as per their performances in the course.
