GITAM HBS 2019-21 Test Scores Accepted

The candidates who have not appeared for any one of the exams - MAT, GMAT, CAT 2018, XAT 2019, ATMA, or NMAT 2018 must sit for the HBSAT 2019 exam which is conducted by GITAM HBS at university level.

Please Note: When a candidate comes for GD and PI round and does not produce any of the above score, he or she can sit for the HBSAT 2019 exam. After clearing the test, they will be shortlisted for GD and PI rounds.

GITAM HBS 2019-21 Admission Process

1. Shortlisting for GD & PI

The following scores are considered while shortlisting candidates for GD and PI rounds at HBS GITAM:

• Test Score – Minimum Cutoff in MAT, GMAT, CAT 2018, XAT 2019, ATMA, NMAT 2018 or HBSAT 2019 exam
• Academic Scores – Class X, XII and Bachelors
• Work Experience (If any)

2. GD & PI Rounds

• The candidates are tested on skills like
  • Communication
  • Leadership
  • Business Awareness
• The default test center is GITAM Campus, Hyderabad.
• The other cities where GD & PI round can take place if there are 10 or more candidates are: Vijayawada, Tirupati, Chennai, Bengaluru, Thiruvanantapuram, Kozhikode, Kolkata, Ranchi, Patna, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Guwahati

3. Final Admission Offer

The candidates are shortlisted based on the overall performance in the test scores, GD and PI rounds. Those who make it to the final merit list, the names are announced on the GITAM HBS’s website and offer letters are dispatched.
