Answer: The Achiever's Round is for selected few candidates with an extraordinary profile. Candidates are shortlisted based on their curricular, extracurricular, and career achievements along with profile (qualification, past academic performance, and work experience).
FAQ2. What courses can I apply for via the Achiever's Round ?
Answer: Candidates can apply only for GIM’s flagship PGDM programme through the Achiever's Round.
FAQ3. Where is the Achiever's Round conducted ?
Answer: The candidates who are shortlisted for Achiever's round are called for an interview to Goa. The interviews are only held in Goa and no other city across India.
FAQ4. When is the last date to apply for GIM's Achiever's Round ?
Answer: The last date to apply for the Achiever's Round is 15th December 2020. It is also when the early bird registrations and application via CAT 2020 exam score ends.
FAQ5. Who is eligible to apply for GIM's Achiever's Round ?
Answer: Anyone who wants to apply for GIM's PGDM course can apply via Achiever's Round. Candidates are required to submit academic and career achievement proofs.
FAQ6. Which exam scores are required to apply for GIM's Achiever's Round ?
Answer: The Achiever's Round interviews are conducted in the month of January. The selection is made without the CAT 2020, XAT 2021, CMAT 2021, or GMAT scores. The scores are incorporated later on. However, if the scores are available at the time of application, students must submit them.
FAQ7. What is the advantage of applying via Achiever's Round ?
Answer: The candidates who are shortlisted via Achiever's Round will be eligible for scholarships worth 4 lakh rupees. Also, they will be given weightage for the selections made for the Joint International Internship Seminar (JIIS) and the International Exchange Programs.

FAQ9. How is the objective assessment and leadership assessment made during the Achiever's Round ?
Answer: The objective assessment is based on exam scores – CAT 2020, XAT 2021, GMAT, or CMAT 2021 score. The leadership assessment is based on Individual Assessment in Group Activity, which is interaction with peers and evaluators.

Answer: The interview process during GIM's Achiever's Round is rigorous. Candidates go through 2 interview rounds. The final round is conducted by the Director of GIM and is difficult. The competition is fierce.

Answer: The Achiever's Round is unique because of the 'leadership assessment' component as part of the selection process. The leadership assessment is based on Individual Assessment in Group Activity, which is interaction with peers and evaluators.

Note : The candidates who are not shortlisted for Achiever's Round are not be eligible for scholarships, but can still apply via regular round. Also, they will not be eligible for scholarship if he/she was shortlisted for Achiever's Round but decided to opt out of Achiever's Round to attend the Regular Round.
