Goa Institute of Management was founded in 1993 by Rev. Fr. Romuald D'Souza.
GIM was established with a mission to create knowledge & nurture leaders for sustainable business and inclusive society.

Goa Institute of Management recently secured the prestigious SAQS accreditation for five years.
GIM Goa offers three two-year full–time Post Graduate Diploma in Management courses – PGDM, PGDM (HCM), PGDM (BDA)
The campus of Goa Institute of Management is located in Sanquelim, Goa and spreads over 50 acres.
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, connected on fiber optic backbone with high-end switches and speed of 100 MBPS.
The classrooms at GIM have A/V aids along with TV, video, projection, and latest presentation techniques.
The Main Library has a tie-up with the University of Ohio, USA and houses a collection of more than 7175 titles and 165 subscriptions.
GIM Goa is one of the few campuses’ in India that has terminals streaming live data and updates from Thomson Reuters Eikon, CMIE, Capitaline, CRISIL Fund Raiser, Stock Price Ticker and News Channels. The lab boasts of providing over 2,000,000 real time prices, 100,000 economic indicators and data from all Indian companies listed on NSE and BSE.
GIM also has a well-equipped Data Mining Centre.
The residential hostel is like a mini city which is well established and has all modern-day facilities like pool, game courts, cafeteria, mess, prayer rooms, amphitheater, and faculty residence as well.

GIM completed 100 percent 2019 placements for the PGDM & PGDM (HCM) 2017-19 batch.

GIM has a well-established placement cell that works tirelessly to provide opportunities.
The GIM fee for the PGDM, PGDM (HCM) and PGDM (BDA) for the 2019-21 can be paid in six installments (for each term). The GIM fee is as follows:

In addition to the academic fees, hostel fees need to paid which depends on the type of occupancy chosen by the student.
A refundable caution deposit of INR 25000 needs to be paid at the time of admissions which includes the membership fee of GIM Alumni Association.
