Some facts about the IIFT 2022 Exam:

• IIFT 2022 exam timing was changed to 3PM-5PM as against 10AM-12 Noon
• IIFT Entrance exam was a computer based test and not a paper based test
• IIFT 2022 exam had 4 Major Sections instead of 6 earlier.
• Each section had different number of questions
• IIFT exam was conducted by NTA and not by IIFT
• VARC, Quant, DILR had same scoring pattern while GK had different scoring pattern
• 4-5 RC Passages followed by 14-16 questions appeared in the exam. Passages were of difficult.

 The IIFT 2022 score will be calculated using the formula is

(Number of Correct Answers in VARC, QA, LRDI * 3) – (Number of Incorrect Answers in VARC, LRDI, QA * 1) + (Number of Correct Answers in GK * 1.5) – (Number of Incorrect Answers in GK* 0.5)

The IIFT 2022 exam was moderate to difficult. The exam result for IIFT 2022 will have sectional and overall cut off that the candidates must clear in order to get to the next round. It is expected that the IIFT 2022 cutoff marks may fluctuate since there were a few surprises thrown at the students in terms of the exam pattern. The exam result for IIFT 2022 and cut-off will be determined by the following factors:

1. Total number of seats available for the session 2022-24
2. Total number of candidates appearing in the IIFT exam 2022
3. Total number of candidates who clear the IIFT exam 2022
4. Difficulty level of the IIFT exam 2022.

1. With the IIFT 2022 result being announced, the list of candidates shortlisted for second round is released
2. The candidates who are shortlisted will be called for Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds
3. The selection process rounds are conducted in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai
4. The final merit list is prepared based on the following parameters:
   1. IIFT 2022 Scores
   2. WAT Score
   3. GD Score
   4. PI Score
