IRMASAT 2019: About

The Institute of Rural Management, Anand conducts a Social Awareness Test in addition to short listing the candidates based on their CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 or GMAT/GRE scores. The IRMASAT 2019 is an independent online test conducted by IRMA which tests a candidate’s social awareness and general aptitude.

IRMASAT 2019:
Important Dates

The registration window for applying for the PGDRM course is open right now.
- Indian nationals – Last Date is 21^st January 2019.
- Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Children of Indian Workers incGulf Countries and sons & daughters of Non Resident Indian(s)- Last Date is 31^st March 2019.
The IRMASAT exam will be conducted in 1^st Week of February 2019.
The IRMASAT admit card will be issued in the 4^th Week of January 2019.
Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted in the last week of Feb’19.
Final results will be declared after the completion all the rounds.
- Indian nationals – 2^nd Week of Mar’19
- Foreign Nationals – 1^st Week of May’19

IRMASAT 2019:
Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in any discipline or an equivalent recognized by The Association of Indian Universities with 50% marks (45% SC/ST/DAP).
Those in their final year of graduation can also apply.
The Bachelor degree must be of the system 10+2+3 or an equivalent.

IRMASAT 2019: Registration

The Indian candidates can apply online till 21^st January 2019 - https://admission.irma.ac.in/
Please ensure the following while registering:
- Credentials – Use valid email id and correct name as per records
- Exam Scores – In case the CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 result is not declared by the time you fill your form, please enter the appropriate registration numbers.
- Documents – Ensure size of all scanned documents is not more than 1 MB – Mark sheets (10^th,12^th & Graduation), Certificates (Sports, Extra-Curricular & Work Experience), Caste Certificates (OBC-NC, SC, ST & DAP).
- Photograph & Signature – The scanned copy of photograph and signature is not more than 512 KB.
- Sponsored Candidates must fill the appropriate form and upload it.

The IRMASAT 2019 application fee is non-refundable.

IRMASAT 2019: Selection Process

The Indian national candidates can apply using either the CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 score. Those who clear the minimum cutoff score, will be shortlisted based on their profiles for further rounds. The overall selection process is as follows:

Candidates must fill the IRMASAT 2019 application form for the PGDMR 2019-21 sessions.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT 2018/XAT 2019 scores and assessment of their profiles.

Those who clear the above section criteria will appear for IRMASAT 2019 exam and GA & PI rounds at IRMA campus. None of the three rounds are qualifier rounds. Each round has its own weightage.
Final merit list is released after assessing a candidate’s score/performance in each of the rounds.

IRMASAT 2019 : Result & Final Selection

The IRMASAT results will be declared the same day the examination is conducted.
Irrespective of the results, candidates will appear for the GA and PI rounds.

Issues of Social Concern:

This section tests a candidate on his/her general awareness in social, economic, political, rural, legal, and policy areas both at a national and international level.

English Comprehension:

IRMASAT 2019: Foreign Nationals

Foreign national candidates can apply for the PGDRM course. They fall under the below categories:
- Foreign Nationals.
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO).
- Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries.
- Sons & Daughters of Non Resident Indian(s).
- NRI Sponsored applicants.
Out of the 240 seats available for PGDRM 2019-21, 15% are reserved for foreign national students.
The candidates can apply using any of the below scores-
- GMAT or GRE Scores taken on or after January 2014
- CAT 2018 score
- XAT 2019 score
The last date to apply for foreign national students is 31^st March 2019.
The candidates who clear the exam score cutoff are called for a Personal Interview (PI).
