It has three Centres of Excellence in place to fuel student interest:
1. Lal Bahadur Shastri Risk Management Centre (LBSRMC)
It caters to the needs and challenges of future risk professionals and managers with a focus on research, training, education and consultancy.
It helps develop international standards of excellence for risk management.
It promotes multidisciplinary research in risk management by developing innovative concepts, effective quantitative tools and strategies.
It sponsors research projects in close collaboration with industry professionals
It helps organize workshops, conference, symposia.
It helps existing and future organizations to improve professional standards of competence in the modeling and management of risks.
2. Lal Bahadur Shastri Entrepreneurial and Incubation Centre (LBSEIC)
It is established to enable innovation and entrepreneurship at LBSIM Delhi.
It focuses on three aspects - entrepreneurship, ideation and angel investing.
It invests in and nurtures student entrepreneurs who need help growing their business.
It helps organize national and international Seminars and Conferences.
3. Lal Bahadur Shastri Research Centre for Public Policy and Social Change
It facilitates research on social, economic and political issues.
It is based on the principles, ideas and practices of late Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri.
It recently completed a World Bank Research Study on "Ease of Doing Business. (EODB)" in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. The Report was to the funding body.
It has submitted research proposals Delhi Commission on Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) and National Commission for Women (NCW).
LBSIM Delhi has been approved by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as research center for PH.D. research work in Finance and General Management.
The LBSIM faculty has been actively publishing research material in national and international journals, and magazines.
LBSIM aims to nurture problem-solvers and decision makers. Various research avenues definitely help achieve this goal. LBSIM Delhi offers four PGDM programmes – PGDM (General), PGDM (Finance), PGDM (Research & Business Analytics), PGDM (Logistics & Supply Chain Management).
