1. There are 4 marks for correct answer and 0.25 negative marks for incorrect answer.
2. There are 6 types of scores shared in the scorecard of MAT:
   • Language Comprehension
   • Mathematical Skills
   • Data Analysis & Sufficiency
   • Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
   • Composite Score
   • Indian & Global Environment
3. The first 4 scores are out of 100.
4. The Indian & Global score is out of 100.
5. The composite score is derived using the scores of first 4 sections and is out of 800
6. A corresponding percentile is given for each of the 6 scores
7. The cutoff marks for various colleges is always based on the composite score, thus is out of 800.

Usually the MAT merit list for colleges is somewhere in between 500-700. The difficulty level of the exam is not very high. A look at the cutoff marks for some top institutes across India are:

MAT Cutoff 2024: How to Check Score Once a candidate appears for MAT exam 2024 they eagerly wait for MAT result 2024 and the respective cutoff of MAT 2024 exam. Since the exam is conducted 4 times a year every time there is new set of cutoff released.
