MDI Gurgaon has a fairly large and lush-green campus situated at around 12 km distance from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, in New Delhi. The campus has an overall contemporary look with red brick buildings, dotted with trees. All the different residential buildings have been given their own names like Lakshaya, Gurukula, Parthenon, Scholars etc.
The campus is also fairly well-equipped with fully air-conditioned classrooms, executive suites, fully furnished residences, a modern-day computer centre, well-stocked library and various recreation areas such as floodlit basketball, tennis and badminton courts, as well as a golf course. The Library holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, audio-visual materials, CDs/DVDs, e-journals, reports, case studies, training manuals, etc. The Library with its modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services plays an essential role for the academic community in their intellectual pursuits. MDI Library is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. Users can access the vast eLibrary on anytime anywhere basis. The library offers a range of information services set to the highest professional standards.
The library has a collection of over 55,000 volumes and around 1.7 lakhs ebooks. The online library provides access to 17,000 international journals. The electronic library, which is accessible across the campus network includes major international online databases such as Proquest’s ABI/INFORM, Business Source Complete (EBSCO), Sage Online Journals collection, Elsevier collection, Emerald journals, Factiva, JSTOR, CMIE databases, Capitaline, ACE Equity, APA databases, ISI Emerging Markets, Bloomberg Terminal, Datamonitor, Financial Times database, etc. The library is open seven days a week.

Campus Network
The campus network is built on fiber optic cable backbone of 10 GB capacity with managed Extreme L3 and L2 Switches that connects all the buildings on campus via VLANs. For intra-building connectivity, a copper Ethernet network is in place. The entire campus is also Wi-Fi enabled and supports 802.11n standards. Over 2500 users access the network on campus.
Internet Connectivity
MDI has high speed and uninterrupted Internet connectivity across the campus through 150 Mbps (1:1) dedicated Internet leased line.
Computer Labs
MDI has three computer labs for the students, researchers and faculty for academic activities. The labs have 130 Nos. of i5 Windows 10 desktops with internet access and all latest software applications. The computer lab is also equipped with LaserJet Printers to provide printing facilities to the students. One of the Labs serves as Finance Lab and is equipped with Bloomberg Terminals. The computer Lab timings are 8:00 AM to 6:00 AM next day on all days except national holidays.
Video Conferencing Facility
MDI has a Polycom and Lifesize Video Conferencing Facilities It is widely used for holding talks with eminent speakers, placement interviews, and virtual student seminars in several programs.
E-mail system
MDI Email system (@mdi.ac.in) is configured on Google Apps for Education Vertical. Its a user-friendly web based e-mail system that allows users to access mails anytime anywhere. In addition, Google apps offer various other facilities such as Google docs, Google spreadsheets etc which can also be utilized in a collaborative work environment.
Class Rooms
All the class rooms are equipped with Computer Systems connected to internet and Audio Visual Aids.
VPN for library resources
MDI library resources can be accessed through cloud based services from anywhere outside the campus by the members of MDI community.
Hostel Rooms Facilities
All the hostel rooms are provided with Internet connectivity. Laser jet printers also being provided in the hostels common room. Network and Internet connectivity is being provided in the students’ hostels.
Digital Signage’s
Digital Signage are installed at various locations in MDI. These are used to display information the events and activities at MDI.
The classrooms in MDI Gurgaon are all air-conditioned and equipped with state-of-the-art, newest technologies to facilitate an ideal learning environment for the MBA students. There is residential accommodation available for the administrative and academic staff.
Students of PGPM, PGP-HR, PGP-IM and FPM scholars stay on MDI Campus and are provided with accommodation on twin/three/ four sharing basis in Change Masters, Takshashila and Kshitij blocks. There are separate hostel blocks for the female students called Oddessy & Kaveri. Students are required to bring their own PC and avail the campus Wi-Fi facility.
The rooms are provided with a bed, a study table, a chair, a cupboard and the usual fixtures. The students are required to bring their own mattress, bed linen, toiletries and locks for almirah and hostel rooms. These are also available in the students-run Co-operative Store “MART”.
The Participants of NMP, the Executive Graduate Programme, are provided with accommodation on Campus in Takshashila block. The block has reception hall, air-conditioned dining halls and air-conditioned Semi-furnished rooms.
The executives of Public Policy and Governance Programmes are accommodated in Kshitij hostel. The hostel has been specially designed to suit the needs of the policy makers. The rooms are air-conditioned and are fully furnished with modern gadgets. The rooms are provided with Internet connection to facilitate extended study hours for the participants. They may bring their PCs to fully capitalize on opportunities offered by the programme.
Apart from all the above infrastructure facilities, MDI Gurgaon students can also make use of the in-campus badminton court, golf course, gymnasium, recreation room, lawn tennis court, billiards room, recreation room, canteen, TV lounge and table tennis room. Students can also avail Yoga classes that are conducted on a regular basis.
