The Corporate Relations Cell bridges the gap between a student’s classroom learning and industry practices, by organizing weekly sessions with professionals from reputed organizations. The guest speakers who are invited are a mix of alumni, entrepreneurs, and professionals who hold prominent leadership and technical positions in government or organizations. These are called the Corporate Interface Sessions.

  1. Recently, an alumna of batch 1997-1999 Ms. Sunmeet Taluja Marwaha was invited, and she spoke at length about the travel industry and its evolution and prospects. She also shared her life after LBSIM
  2. Mr. Hitesh Makkad, who is an entrepreneur and the Director at Ping Tring, a Telecom Startup was invited. He shared some current and crucial industry trends and information about industry requirements that companies look for in a candidate today. He motivated the students to dream and convert those dreams into ideas and transform those ideas into successful startup ventures.
  3. An ex-Indian Army officer (1979-2012) and the Cabinet Secretariat (PMO) from 2012-18, Mr. Rajiv Anand was invited to give an intriguing talk on communication etiquettes. It was an enriching experience for the students.
  4. Usually, all the discussions end up with an interactive Q&A session.

The Outreach is an excellent initiative by the Corporate Relations Cell. It is a unique platform to connect and interact with HR professionals across India. It is organized in Aug-September every year before the national Human Resource Conference. Distinguished HR professionals are invited from major business hubs like Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Pune.

Summer Internships

Summer Internship is a critical aspect of the MBA degree you pursue at LBSIM. Every student must undergo 8-10 week long internship with a firm – small or big. A summer internship helps you-
