Corruption is a menace for the society in particular and the country in general. Too much discussion goes on about solutions for corruption and applying ethical solutions for that but outcomes are not positive.

Such discussions are complete fad in the absence of proper strategy. It seems impossible to instigate ethics in present unethically plagued society where corruption is deep rooted from the top to bottom. Attempts have been made by discussions on all stages and “revolutionary steps” to combat corruption but unfortunately none has yielded positive result due to lack of visionary leadership.

Discussions on combating corruption have become fad as in most cases outcomes are zero. As bribing and corruption levels are from top to zenith it is literally impossible to clean the system from it. It should be noted though that corruption can definitely be combated, for that there should be initiation of ethical practices with exemplary leadership role without which no discussion have any meaning.

Having ethics alone won’t do anything. Similarly discussions whether tinier or larger in nature will not yield positive results without action. The need is to plan an action which is based on concrete ideology, determination and of course core values should be applied to ensure steps taken are genuine and implemented for remarkable achievement.

The system is in the verge of collapsing but it doesn’t mean that we should remain mere spectators. Each and every individual has to play constructive role especially through keeping in view that whatever discussions go, have to be concluded by paving the way for effective action.

Once corruption is eradicated from grassroots and small levels then bigger ones would automatically get affected henceforth positive outcome would be ascertained. There is no doubt in it that it has become a fad to discuss corruption today because none of the ongoing discussions end with concrete means to find a result which can be considered surmounting.

The need is to talk and implement result oriented approach that ultimately offers a solution at par. Simply talking and talking is nothing but waste of time. Let’s introspect within us and correct, that will be the first step.
