Industry-relevant program and curriculum design

MDIM offers a Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) which was designed after plenty of deliberations, to prepare students for the competitive business world of the present and the future. This program enables students to:

The curriculum is extremely rich comprising of various theoretical and practical means that enrich students’ abilities and skills. It is spread across 6 terms of 3 months each, with the bulk of compulsory course material completed in the first 3 terms. The PGPM program enables students to successfully identify, diagnose and solve business problems with the help of hands-on learning experiences.

The students undertake many field-based projects to get well-acquainted with the ground realities of modern-day businesses. They must also go through a mandatory summer internship spanning over 6 to 8 weeks, post the completion of the first 3 terms. This internship gives them exposure to organizational work settings and gain a better understanding of the business realities, as well as master the art of applying classroom theories to real-life business situations.

Centre for Entrepreneurship and Start-ups

MDIM recognizes the fact that entrepreneurship is key for economic development and for creation of employment opportunities. The institute has set up a non-profit student organization called Centre for Entrepreneurship Development to help students understand the nuances of business operations and to use entrepreneurship as a means to become self-reliant.
