International Footprint of MDI Murshidabad

Management Development Institute, Murshidabad, is a young and promising business school. It was inaugurated by the former Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, in August 2014. It offers a two-year full-time ACITE approved Post-Graduate Program in Management (PGPM).

According to the 2018-19 survey conducted by National HRD Network (NHRDN) and Shine.com, MDI Murshidabad was named under the top five emerging b-schools in India. It was awarded A* (A Star) at the National level and A*** (A triple star) at State level by CRISIL, a premier rating agency. In the last five years, it has not only been striving towards establishing its name at a national level, but also spreading its international footprint.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs)

  • In 2019, MDI Murshidabad signed MoU with Dhaka School of Economics, Bangladesh, for joint academic, research, and training programmes.

  • International MDPs are conducted at MDI Murshidabad for Dhaka School of Economics and Bangladesh Banks.

Prestigious International Memberships

  • MDI Murshidabad was conferred membership by the prestigious Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) for five years. AMDISA provides the SAQS (South Asian Quality Assurance System) accreditation, which is a globally recognized quality assurance and accreditation system for management schools. International Seminars

  • MDI Murshidabad hosted the first International Conference on September 2018 in association with DOC Berlin, Germany, and Business Standard. The topic was Sustainability Development – A Value Chain Perspective.

International Outreach

  • MDI Murshidabad has been working on increasing their International outreach by exploring channels which can attract foreign intake of students.

  • Efforts are being made to develop educational ties with SAARC countries. The process of communicating with the Consulate offices of SAARC countries like Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Nepal is in progress.
