Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, which is widely recognized as IMT Ghaziabad came into being in the year 1980 as a private business school recognized by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). This is a 2 year full time dual country residential program in business management that is AACSB accredited and AICTE approved. It has been created keeping in mind the fact that IMT graduates are increasingly assuming international level roles, wherein they are expected to work alongside and perform amongst people of all nationalities. The conventional MBA/PGDM programs aren’t able to equip students with the required cross-cultural skills and exposure, to perform in such environments.
This is where IMT’s Dual Country Program proves to be of great help. Rather than offering only short-term international exchange to the students, this program enables them to have a year-long intensive international exposure. The students are not just acquainted with the global way of living, but are able to work in an extremely dynamic marketplace and a multicultural environment. They not just learn but master the ropes of the International business environments. The program has been strategically anchored around the Dubai (UAE) region, which is widely considered the hub for top rated service businesses.
This is a 15 month long full-time accelerated residential MBA program targeted at experienced and high-performing executives. It is AACSB accredited and AICTE approved. The aim of this program is to groom experienced executives who can assume general management roles with service focus and international orientation.
The course curriculum is very contemporary in nature comprising of 6 phases – Foundation, Functional, Internationalization, Customization, Integration and Dissertation. One can specialize in areas like Supply Chain Management, Operations, Human Resources, Information Management and Marketing Analytics. The program follows the philosophy ‘Knowing by Doing’ and hence its architecture is outcome-centered, implemented through various simulations, workshops, experiential learning social emergence, field projects and courses.
The students get a global perspective through close associations with leading business schools of the world. The program includes a 4 to 6 week long Global Career Accelerator (GCA) at one of the European partners of the institute.
A 3 year part-time MBA program, this one is targeted at working professionals who are keen on making a jump in their careers, but would like to pursue MBA without the need of parting with their job. Like the other PGDM programs offered by the institute, PGDM Part Time is also AACSB accredited and AICTE approved.
It’s important to note here that this is not a correspondence or a long-distance program as there are regular weekly classroom interactions held at the IMT Ghaziabad campus. Apart from the working executives, it’s a fairly useful course for professionals and entrepreneurs too. PGDM Part Time of IMT is aimed at imparting communication, conceptual, management and business skills in the students, with a focus on developing future business leaders. Counted amongst the oldest MBA programs for working professionals in the Delhi NCR region, it’s also the only such AACSB accredited program for working professionals in the area.
You are free to opt for either the regular weekend mode that involves classroom sessions every weekend or the alternative weekend mode wherein the classes are held every alternate weekend. Students get plenty of interaction with the industry, and are able to put theoretical knowledge into action through practical sessions and case studies.
