KIIT School of Management (KSOM), Bhubaneshwar under the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University (KIIT) was established in 1993. KIIT University offers specialized courses in technology and management. All programs including the management program at KIIT are NBA accredited, and AICTE approved.

KSOM is a center for professional management learning with global standards. In the last 25 years it has earned many laurels, and in 2018 it was ranked among the top 30 private colleges in India by the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF). It has also been rated ‘A’ grade by NAAC.

Aparajita Panda Recruiting Manager at Alexa Voice Service and Alexa Automotive Batch : 2006-08

Aparajita is a multi-faceted alumna of KSOM who did her MBA in HR and Marketing & Systems. She has worked with some of the top multinational companies like MindTree, TCS, and Amazon. Currently, she is the Recruiting Manager at Alexa Voice Service and Alexa Automotive. Other than her professional achievements that speak volumes of her academic foundation built at KSOM, she has brought glory to the country as well. She has won the ‘Mrs. India America 2014’ title.

Sanjeev Singh MD at MYO Research Services Private Limited Batch : 1997-99

Sanjeev is the Founder and Managing Director at MYO Research Services Private Limited (Center for Empowerment Studies). He had completed his PGDM in Marketing & Systems and worked with leading market research agencies in India and the South East Asian region. His strong academic background has catapulted him to new heights of success in his professional endeavors.

Yuvraj Mehta Group Head Corporate Communications at GMR Group Batch : 1993-95

Yuvraj belongs to the first batch of KSOM who pursued his MBA in Marketing. He is currently serving as the Group Head Corporate Communications at GMR Group and is among the top 100 Digital Marketers in India. He specializes in media relations, crisis communication, and perception management. He was conferred Chanakya Promising PR person of the year from Public Relation Council of India in 2017.

Ayaskanta Mohanty MD at GOVSiS Technologies Pvt. Ltd Batch : 1994-96

Ayaskanta did his MBA in Finance and Marketing and is a distinguished alumnus of KSOM. He is the co-founder of Tatwa Technologies Ltd., a company he started with just Rs. 5000 but now has close to 5000 employees. It is a leading IT & ITeS company which provides end to end solutions. Ayaskanta was conferred ‘The Indian Leadership award for IT’ by IEDRS in 2012. He was awarded the ‘Odisha Icon’ 2011 jury award in the best Entrepreneur category. He also features in Times of India coffee table book LIVE WIRE. He is currently serving as the Managing Director at GOVSiS Technologies Pvt. Ltd and works in the area of 'Smart Governance'.

Debjani Nandy Head of Sales & Business Development at Gati Kausar India Ltd Batch : 1997-99

Debjani completed her PGDM in Finance and was the topper (Gold Medalist) of the 1999 batch. She was also the Chief Convener of MARKOP 99 which is a marketing fair organized at KSOM every year. She is currently working as the Head of Sales & Business Development with Gati Kausar India Ltd. She has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate sales, client acquisition, partnership distribution, talent management, client relationship management, and overall business development. She has transformed into a motivational leader.

Mr. Sourya Sidhhartha Dash GM – HR & TM at Philips Lighting Batch : 2006-08

Sourya is currently working as General Manager – HR & TM at Philips Lighting and was awarded the "Top 20 Young HR Leaders" in India in 2013 by People Matters & DDI. He completed his MBA in HR. He has extensive experience of more than 11 years in the industry. He has worked with companies like Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, GE, and Philips. He has quite a reputation in the corporate sector and happens to be an alumnus of the Indian Military Academy. KSOM has played an important role in building a strong foundation for him.

Shrawanti Saha VP at IDFC Asset Management Company Batch : 1998-2000

Shrawanti completed her PGDM in HR from KSOM and holds her alma mater in high esteem.She specializes in sales, distribution, liaison and negotiation in various markets across India. Currently she is the Vice President, Sales at IDFC Asset Management Company and handles wealth management outfits in consumer and private banking space.
