Pessimists are spoilers
What is pessimism? An attitude that lacks hope in the future or maybe an attitude that sees the worst case scenario in everything!
Pessimism is basically an attitude. So, who are these pessimists? People who believe in living this attitude day in and day out are basically pessimists.
A classic example of pessimism would be the politicians of India vs. the citizens of India. Has any citizen ever believed that the person they have voted for is acting in their favour or maybe their acts would do something good to our future?
The “Aman ki Aasha” project initiated towards building ties with Pakistan has let out a lot many unhealthy and pessimistic opinions. Similarly, when a budget is a put up in the parliament, there would be several racing across the market with a pessimistic attitude claiming how wrong the budget is.
The best example of pessimism would come when India wins a cricket match unexpectedly against the giants in the cricketing world. You would see a true pessimist speaking the words that India won because of luck and, no hard try.
They are pessimists or rather they feel nothing is good about anything that happens in this world.
One should ideally try and ignore them and, carry on with their work. But, when these pessimists speak, their words hit the brain. It is difficult to ignore the pessimists especially at the work place.
They would undoubtedly cause you to believe that a certain style of working or certain initiative project would not work. This would cause the risk takes to fear and, finally the whole project gets scraped off.
But, for a few pessimists, most projects that would benefit the country in many ways would not see the light of the day.
The retail investments which would have led to many top retailers across the world to enter India, is still residing in the darkness. But, for a few pessimists, this bill was not passed.
If India wants to walk in shining armour, it must shed away the few pessimists and, walk in the initiators who see the progress.
