Students from different geographies of India, different cultures, speaking different languages and having experience from different sectors of businesses shall commence their 2 year PG programme from 23rd July. 
 
As always, induction program is a very extensive, interactive and interesting induction week for the new entrants so as to inculcate aspects about IMS, about business connect, different clubs, stress management, fun learning and most of all group dynamics.
 
IMS Ghaziabad has been a trend-setter in the area of management education in terms of innovative programmes and practices which have been widely appreciated by the Industry.  IMS believes in providing its students with value-based education and building in them competencies which help them embark on their dream careers.  
 
The Induction programme (2012-14 batch) is from 17th to 21st July for PGDM, PGDM (MM), PGDM (BFS) and PGDM(TM) programmes. The programme started with the lightening of ceremonial lamp to evoke the blessings of Lorddess Saraswati followed by the address of the Director Dr Vidya Sehkri.
 
Different corporate leaders stressed on different industrial aspects. Mr. Deepak Malik (MD-CCIL) stressed on being productive and leadership qualities.
 
Mr. Shailendra Veer (Country Head – Sherwin William Paints India) highlighted on how to be a successful manager. He also shared the perceptions and opinions of various specializations offered like Finance, HR, Marketing, IT etc as well as their scope.
 
Mr. Rajib Majumdar (International Trainer) stressed on working smart rather than hard, be result oriented, virtues like professionalism, innovative, adaptability, intiative etc.
 
Col. Kala (Director, Aqua Terra Adventures) envisioned the budding managers to do away with the notion of 9-5 working as the industry is much more demanding these days.
 
The other eminent sperkers who shared their experience and expectations from the budding managers were:

Rangaswamy (VP-Business Dept & Marketing, Orient & Bell Ceramics) and Mr. Pramod Joshi (Director, Winning Mantra). 
 
The speakers threw light on the expectations of Industry and stressed on the importance of time management, positive attitude and the need to follow one’s passion.
