Indian Institute of Management Raipur launched a news letter in marketing at its campus – “The Marketing Times” for the benefit of marketing enthusiasts.
The newsletter is a result of extensive brain storming among the students, who felt that there is a growing need to keep themselves updated around the clock in the field of marketing. The news letter covered the marketing lectures in both the trimesters held for the first year students of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) and is aimed to update students about all the happening in the marketing field across the globe.
The newsletter was launched in one of the marketing presentations where in the students delved into the concepts of marketing and provided an insight on the changing global scenario in the field of marketing.
The news letter covered major concepts taught during both the trimesters in marketing classes. To enhance the understanding of students the news letter was splurged with modern day corporate real life examples. Marketing is a subject of practical application. "The Marketing Times” takes care of the fact that theories and books need to compliment the practical applications to make the understanding of the subject clear.
The students involved in the making of the news letter were Llewellyn Fernandez, Thousif Mohammed, S Sreejith, Jamal Shahid and Shashank Badre.
