Eligibility
An applicant should have a minimum of three-year Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in any discipline recognized by the UGC / AICTE. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor's Degree can also apply. Applicants for PGDM program must have valid CAT/MAT/CMAT scores for academic session 2013-14.
Selection Procedure
IMS Ghaziabad conducts Written Expression Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds for admission to its various programmes. The GD/PI Process will be held on 17thNovember 2012 at IMS Ghaziabad.
During the Written Expression Test, the aspirants are given a picture based situation, on which they have to express their views. This test basically checks the written ability, command over language and their approach towards psychometric skills.
The topics which have appeared so far in the GD process are contemporary topics like RTE, impact of inflation, FDI in Retail and Aviation, Current economic condition of India with respect to the Scams in India, etc.
The Personal Interview round tests your knowledge about yourself and your surroundings. You should be prepared with a short introduction about yourself, devoid of the points which are already mentioned in your application form. Also, you should have an answer which justifies your plan to do PGDM and your goals. Also expect questions on what you have stated during the GD round. Remember, you can be counter questioned on the basis of what you have answered on the previous question. You may be asked your favorite subject and there may be questions to test your domain knowledge.
The final selection will be on the basis of CAT/MAT/CMAT scores, Performance in GD, Performance in Personal Interview round, Past Academic records and Written Expression Test.
Scholarships policy 2013-14
To motivate prospective candidates and attract meritorious students, the scholarships are offered to Post Graduate Management students on the basis of merit, based on CAT/MAT percentile, every year.

•These scholarships are awarded purely on the basis of merit, subject to the maximum 10% students applying for management programme every year.
•Each scholarship awarded at the time of entry or admission will be valid for one year only and may continue/discontinue in the subsequent year on the basis of academic performance of the student, subject to minimum score of 8.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
• The scholarship amount calculated in all the categories will be on the basis of specific percentage of tuition fees only.
•Any amount of scholarship will not be paid in cash, but will be credited against the last installment of the fees of concerned year.
Apart from above scholarships, the institute awards 7 gold medals to the students for contributing towards various facets of life. The purpose of these medals is to cultivate leadership, sense of social responsibility & contribution, holistic development and academic excellence.
