With MBA, You are expected to be a Great Initiator !
In an MBA program, students’ leadership skills and communication skills are honed, which are essential for success in the business world.
With an MBA degree, students will be given managerial positions in the corporate world, where they will be expected to lead teams and initiate projects.
As an MBA holder, you will be required to get the ball rolling for new projects. While leading and initiating projects, you will be required to allocate tasks and jobs to your subordinates, based on their strengths and weaknesses.
Also, you will be required to set deadlines, motivate people when their spirits are low, and ensure that the project is progressing in the right direction.
With an MBA, you are expected to be a great leader, with the ability to set things right when they are not proceeding according to the plan.
As an initiator, you are expected to have great foresight; you should be able to anticipate problems and resolve them before they get out of hand. As a leader, you will be expected to be proactive instead of reactive.
In the MBA program, you will get to hone your analytical and decision making skills, which are important for leadership positions.
Apart from possessing all the relevant skills, an initiator should have the following qualities: determination to succeed, patience, endurance, and perseverance.
Initiating and seeing things through take effort and hard work. One has to manage resources, including people and funds, and ensure that they are being used in an optimum manner.
As an initiator, you are not just expected to start projects but ensure that they are completed successfully and on time.
As an initiator, you are considered the grandmaster of the project, responsible for all the outcomes of the projects at hand and other official work.
