NMAT Exam Registration 2024 Online Application Form Process & Fee

NMAT by GMAC is a computer adaptive test for MBA admissions in prestigious colleges, consisting of three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. It's accepted by business schools in countries like India, South Africa, and the Philippines.

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts the NMAT exam every year within a testing window. In March 2015, GMAC acquired the NMAT exam from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

For NMAT 2024 registration, candidates need: 

1. Required Academic qualification is 10+2 and Graduation.

2. A graduation degree with at least 50% marks.

3. Final-year students can also apply.

4. No age limit.

5. Preference is given to candidates with 2-3 years of work experience during final selection.

To register for NMAT 2024:

1. Go to nmat.org in early August 2024.

2. Fill in your name, phone number, and email, and select your exam country.

3. Click 'Create New Account' and verify your email.

4. Access your dashboard from the email link.

5. Click 'Register Now,' and enter details.

6. Check the declaration box and click 'I Agree.'

7. Pay the application fee online to complete registration.

Here are the steps to fill out the NMAT 2024 application form:

1. Go to mba.com/exams/nmat

2. Click "Register for NMAT by GMAC"

3. Fill in personal details like name, email, and birthdate

4. Upload a passport-sized photo

5. Enter education and work experience

6. Select schools to send scores to

7. Pay the application fee

8. Submit and save a hardcopy

Remember, your info must match your ID, and you can retake the exam twice within the test window, with a 15-day wait between attempts.

To apply for NMAT, you'll need to fill out your personal details like name, birth date, and contact info. Provide your educational background, including marks from high school, college, and any further studies. If you've done any internship or job after graduating, mention that too. Pick the schools you want to send your scores to. Also, share info about any other MBA exams you've taken. Don't forget to upload a photo that matches your ID. Make sure all the info matches your ID exactly.

The NMAT 2024 exam can be taken either at a test center or online. It's a computer-based test with three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. 

• Being specific about the exam, you have 120 minutes to answer 108 multiple-choice questions. 

• Each correct answer gets you 3 marks, and there's no penalty for wrong answers. 

• The test adjusts the difficulty based on your performance. 

• You can take it multiple times within a year to improve your score. 

The last date to register for the 2024 NMAT exam is October 10, 2024. Consider all documents prepared for submission by October of this year. 

The NMAT rescheduling window lets you change your exam date if needed. You can do this up to 72 hours before your original exam time. But once there are only 72 hours left before your exam, you can't reschedule anymore.

If you want to take the exam again because you want to improve your score or you missed your first attempt, you can schedule a retake. After your initial attempt, you can schedule a retake, which will happen 15 days later. If you missed your first attempt, you can schedule a retake immediately for any available slot after 24 hours. This costs INR 2,800 plus taxes.

The NMAT exam covers three main areas: Quantitative Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Language Skills. Within these, you'll need to be good at some particular subjects: 

1. Start by understanding the syllabus and exam pattern, know what topics to cover, and how they're divided in the exam.

2. Secondly, decide your study approach. Choose whether to study on your own or join a coaching program for guidance and materials.

3. Focus on grasping basic concepts well and revising them regularly.

4. Solve past NMAT papers to review your readiness and get familiar with the exam format.

5. Practice with mock tests to get comfortable with the exam environment, identify weak areas, and refine your exam strategy. Then, analyze your performance to improve.

The NMAT exam is a computer-based test held twice a year by GMAC. It has 108 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections: Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Skills, and Language Skills. 

• Each section has 36 questions, and candidates have 120 minutes to complete the test. 

• All sections are equally important and carry the same weight in scoring. 

• The score for each section ranges from 12 to 120, with a total score range of 36 to 360 for the entire exam. 

• The NMAT cutoff usually falls between 150 and 250.
