Asia Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi, organized a seminar on PMP (Project Management Professional) in conjunction with Project Management Institute recently. 
 
The Theme of the seminar was Structuring Projects to ensure Success. The seminar which was organized in the institute premises was presented by the industry experts from the field of Project Management.
 
The objective of the seminar was to enhance basic knowledge of participants in the what, why, when and how of project management. The workshop was an intensive hands-on session which helped develop understanding of project appraisal methods, planning and scheduling tools and techniques, financial analysis and evolution of projects and effective project team building strategies.
 
Dr. D.K Batra, Director of Asia Pacific Institute of Management  said    “Operations keeps the lights on, strategy provides a light at the end of the tunnel, but project management is the train engine that moves the organization forward”
 
The keynote speaker who addressed at the seminar were Kumar Saurabh, Senior Manager, Samsung , Deepak Mehtani, Deputy Director, Unlimited innovation Inc, Chetan Mathur from Nokia Sieman Networks, Shalini Lamba, Six Sigma, Asim Prasad, Chief Project Manager GAIL (India),Prof. Vivek Kumar, MBA (FMS, DU)
