The Institute of Public Enterprise and National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) signed an MOU on 18th June, 2024. IPE & NISM have entered MOU to work in collaboration with each other in increasing the financial literacy in the area of financial markets and also in improving the skill sets of PGDM students at IPE through appropriate certifications from NISM.
The MOU was signed by Prof S Sreenivasa Murthy, Director IPE and Sri Sanjeev Bajaj General Manager NiSM. This event was attended by Prof V Srikanth, Dean (Academics), Prof Ch Lakshmi Kumari, Dean (Research), Dr. K V Ramesh, Coordinator - MOUs and Collaborations and other faculty members. The various certificate courses the students could pursue besides doing regular PGDM program at IPE include Securities markets foundation, Mutual fund distributors certification, Securities operations and risk management certification, Equity derivatives certification, Fixed income securities certification, Research analyst certification and Alternative investment funds distributors certification etc. These certifications will tremendously enhance the placements opportunities for the students at IPE.
