About IIM Jammu
Jammu is a land of grand ancient temples, beautiful palaces nestled against the backdrop of the snow-capped Pir-Panjal Mountains, forested mountain ranges and river valleys. The temporary campus of IIM Jammu is being operated at Govt. College of Engineering & Technology, Old University Campus, Canal Road, Jammu. Permanent campus of IIM Jammu will come up at Jagti, Nagrota Road, Jammu (15kms from Airport on NH 33 ) over a sprawling area of 200 acres. The total covered area will be approximately 115800 area sq. mtrs (as per DPR) and is expected to be operative from 2021-22

Computer Centre:
IIM Jammu Computer Centre has a fast and reliable computer network of more than 500 devices. Institute has 40Mbps Internet leased line connectivity. All the hostels, Faculty Blocks, Administrative Block, Classrooms, Library, LAB and Sports area are connected through wired and Wi-Fi connectivity. All the blocks are connected through L2 & L3 switches (all the switches are linked through OFC) to provide connectivity at the user end. Three High-end Servers are used for computing and networking tasks. A firewall and Squid Proxy Server are used for access control. The classrooms has a seating capacity of 100 students and has two projectors with the audio system classes. Every faculty and office room has a dedicated LAN connection on the Institute’s network to provide round the clock access to resources on the internet. Wireless network is also enabled in the Mess, Bank and Security Blocks.
Programme detail:
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is a flagship programme offered by Indian Institute of Management Jammu. It is a full time two year completely residential programme spread over six terms including a summer internship of eight to ten weeks followed by a six week International Immersion Programme wherein students not only earn three credits but also earn certificate from International Management Institutions of repute.
In the first year, it consists of 18.5 credit core mandatory courses. In the second year it consists of 15.5 credit elective courses (including 3 credits for International Immersion Programme). Electives offerings include the disciplines of Marketing, Operations, Finance & Accounts, Information Technology & Systems (ITS), Strategy, and other elective will be added in future.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit (i.e., 10+2+3) in any discipline recognized by: a) the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), b) UGC, or c) Ministry of Human resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks or, a CGPA of 5.50 on a 10-point scale (45% aggregate marks or, a CGPA of 5.00 on a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PWD categories) is required.
- Scores for any of the following tests taken (any ONE of the tests only):
1). GMAT score for the test taken between April 1, 2013 and January 31, 2018
2). CAT score for the test taken in years 2016, 2017
3). XAT score for the test taken in years 2016, 2017
4). GATE score for the test taken in years 2016, 2017
5). WMP Entrance Exam scheduled on June 10, 2018 (at IIM Jammu Campus)
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification (i.e., after graduation) professional work experience as on May 31, 2018
Admission to Post Graduate Programme in Management at IIM Jammu
Stage-1: Shortlisting based on CAT-2017 percentiles

Stage-2: Expression of Interest Candidates who meet the percentile criteria mentioned in Stage 1, will be asked to fill an expression of interest (EOI) to be further considered for the admission process. Candidates will be informed about this through the website www.iimj.ac.in Candidates are advised to keep visiting the website for activation of EOI provision. Candidates will also be informed about the EOI provision through SMS sent on their registered mobile number
Stage-3: Generation of merit list for final selection only those candidates who clear Stage-1 percentile cut-offs and who submit EOI as mentioned in Stage-2, will be considered for calculation of their composite score in Stage-3 on the basis of the factors as described in Table 2. Candidates will be offered admission in the order of the merit list based on this composite score
