Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has recently invited applications for the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM) 2012. The course is a distinct opportunity for senior managers from social, infrastructure and public sectors. It is an eye candy for people from civil services too who aspire to leadership positions.

PGPPM has been designed to develop specialization in policy formulation and public system management. To attain the objective the program will focus on empowering students with conceptual, technical, leadership and analytical skills. The program includes a seven week study mission at the Maxwell School f citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, USA. However, this study mission is optional for open candidates. Placement assistant is extended to open candidates (other than government sponsored).
Eligibility criteria for open candidates is that they should be graduates with a minimum of five years of work experience and under 40 years as on June, 2012. CAT 2011 or GMAT/GRE scores obtained between April1, 2010 and January 1, 2012 are also required for getting admission in the course.
The Last date for submitting the application is 31st January, 2012.
