AIMA to hold Management Aptitude and Skills Test

Fresh talent brings renewed energy and a new perspective to any corporate/PSUs. Thus the acquisition of talented and skilled young managers is of utmost importance. In view of this growing need, an innovative and unique test -MAST has introduced by All India Management Association (AIMA) - the apex body for Management in the country. 

Management Aptitude and Skills Test evaluates the managerial skills sets management students through an objective type computer based test. Testing pattern of MAST is based on aptitude that helps recruiters in short listing the right candidates as per their companies’ requirement. It would be easy for the companies to filter the best of the best management candidates on the basis of candidates’ MAST scores. On other side job aspirant candidates also can analyze their capacity and aptitude for management career.

Management candidates can analyze their capabilities and short comings through MAST. It offers good opportunity to students to be in the good books of the companies with good score in Management Aptitude and Skills Test. There are many business schools that do not conduct campus placement. Students from such B-schools can take advantage of MAST as it provides direct assistance to candidates in placement process.

MAST is an effective recruitment tool for companies which provide a chance to employers to know their candidates better and beforehand as candidate’s performance is already evaluate on their competencies and functional skills.

There are more than 2,000 business schools exist across the country and approximately 3 lakh management students are passed out every year from business schools. Its a tough task for companies to filter so many candidates. Mast test is designed keeping in view the requirements of the industry. So MAST is becoming a very beneficial recruitment tool for companies.

AIMA has announced the Application date which is from 15th March 2023 onwards across the country. Candidates who are studying final year of MBA, PGDM or those who have an equivalent degree or diploma are eligible for this exam. There are no limitations on age, work experience and percentage of marks. Two years full time or three years part time/correspondence course students can also apply for MAST.

Mast will evaluate the managerial skills set of management students through an objective type computer test that includes three sections    
•Psychometric Analysis
•General Ability Test
•Domain Knowledge Test
 
MAT is a computer based exam and Candidates can registered online only by log on to www.aima-ind.org . All provisionally registered candidates can download their Admit Card from AIMA website  4-5 days before the Computer Based test date i.e., with effect from 09th May 2023. Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Photograph, Registration No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them. Candidates accessing the website the earliest can choose the Date and Time of his/her choice subject to availability. Those who have not opted the date and time slot for 4-5 days will be automatically allotted date and time slot by the system. No request for change of date and time slot can be entertained.
 
MAST will be conducted in the following cities: Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi and NCR, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Pune.
