Two Professors of TAPMI, Manipal
, Prof. Sivakumar and Prof.SulagnaMukherjee developed a case study “UltraRichMatch.com”which has been selected for publishing in the prestigious Ivey case competition.
The case will be published as an ISB-Ivey co-branded case with IVEY Publishing. The Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Case Development (CTLC) at the Indian School of Business (ISB), in partnership with Ivey Business School, The University of Western Ontario announced the results of the ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2013 recently.
The response to this year’s competition was overwhelming, with 98 completed case entries received from participants belonging to India, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, UAE, Philippines and Pakistan. T
he cases spanned the spectrum of management studies, from more traditional subjects such as Strategy, Marketing and Leadership, to emerging areas of interest such as Social Enterprise, Family Business and Governance. With such a large number of high-quality cases, the competition this year was particularly intense.
Finally, 15 cases were selected for publishing after evaluation by experts in a double blind process. Incidentally, the overall winning case had a TAPMI alumnus, Prof. Renuka Kamath (1987-89 batch) among the authors. Prof. Renuka is currently a Marketing Faculty at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.
