How does it feel to be around someone who is always seemingly lazy and unwilling to pick up on any new thing or work? The truth is that people who are always low on energy and thus, consequentially try to run away from any kind of work, create an atmosphere of incompetence and hence, are not cherished in any which ways. Also, people who lack on a good energy level can never become very good leaders and this is precisely the reason why such people are unable to succeed beyond an average level in their life.  

If you are someone who is not happy with mediocrity and seek excellence, you should start by working on your energy levels. If you are not swift in your gait, flying in your spirits and fresh in your mind, it is quiet unlikely that you would ever achieve Excellency that you seek. While some people are blessed with an agile body, soaring spirits and the innate capability to seek adventure, others have to work hard to increasing their energy levels. When the importance of being high on energy is realized, the bigger question that arises is- how could one work on increasing their energy levels?
 
Being energetic relies largely on two things- the overall health of your body and the state of your mind. If your body is healthy, you would naturally feel energetic and in the right spirits to do all the work that you can. However, if your body is not healthy and it does not compliment your working requirements, the chances are that you will lack largely on work due to body constraints. Not only this, but the truth is that the state of your mind also affects your energy level and your working spirit. If your mind is at peace, it will very easily be concentrate on the work that you are doing and take up more as soon as you’re done. 
 
If your mind is not at peace, you will be fighting constantly with a mind blockage and forget taking more work, you will probably not even be able to finish the one that has been given to you. Thus, in order to be able to achieve high energy level and true working spirit, a person first needs to ensure himself of a healthy body and peaceful mind. Here are a few things that you can do keep yourself physically and mentally fit and thus, high on energy. 
 
1.Eat properly and exercise regularly. Like was said earlier, it is extremely important to stay fit to be highly energized. Whatever you eat affects the health of your body. It is good to stay away from junk food. Also, food that is high on cholesterol level is not good for the health of a person. Exercising regularly will not only help you stay fit, it will also increase your stamina and the power to work. Thus, join a good gym and make sure that you find some time each day to burn all the fat and pour some sweat. 
 
2.Secondly, one needs to indulge in practices like Yoga and meditation because they provide much relief to the mind. A Yoga session of half an hour can relieve you of all the stress and prepare you for another day of work. Sometimes, one can also indulge in other kinds of comfort like a visit to a spa for distressing themselves. 
 
3.You cannot be completely energetic in your work area; until and unless you are doing something that you enjoy doing. When a person picks up a profession that he enjoys, he will always be energetic while doing it because his heart would be in his work. On the other hand, when you are compelled to do something that you do not enjoy, your work becomes a burden that you simply want to shed off your sleeve. Thus, if you really want to be energetic and willing to do good work and succeed consequentially, you need to do something that you enjoy doing. 
 
4.Get a hobby. Take some time out to do something other than work that you really enjoy doing. Doing the same work for a long time can make you feel bored and tired. In order to be able to work well and with high energy levels, it is much needed that you rejuvenate your mind and spirit. The best things to do for this is to do something that you really enjoy doing. Going to a movie, playing golf or your favorite sport, hanging out with friends, reading a good book and partying hard are things that can rejuvenate your mind and energize you all over again.
